The Importance of Cooking at a Young Age

Teaching kids to cook from a young age not only builds essential life skills, but also encourages them to develop healthier eating habits. Involving children in the kitchen boosts their confidence, sparks creativity, and makes them more open to trying new foods—making it a great way to combat fussy eating!

Gem Class Success & October Preview

Our Gem Class last month was a hit! The kids baked delicious 5-Day Muffins filled with nutritious ingredients. One of the kids was amazed to be enjoying courgette in her muffin! 🍋 The secret ingredient? Gem crystallized ginger, adding a sweet and spicy twist.

A big congratulations to Sarah and Abby for winning last month’s Gem hamper, and a shoutout to this month’s winners, James and Ciara! 🏆

Looking ahead, don’t miss our October Gem Class on Tuesday, October 22nd, where we’ll be celebrating Halloween with a spooky Graveyard Tray Bake! 🎃👻

Why Our Classes Are Great for Fussy Eaters

Our Family Cooking Club is a fantastic way to help even the pickiest of eaters discover new flavors and textures. By getting kids involved in the cooking process, they’re more excited to try what they’ve made—no more dinnertime struggles!

We hope to see you in the kitchen soon!

Warmly,
Jolene & Lils 🧑‍🍳👩‍🍳
