Christmas eve cookies for Santa

Equipment
- 1 hand mixer
- 1 Large mixing bowl
- 1 Lined baking tray
- 1 tablespoon
Ingredients
- 80 g soft light brown sugar
- 80 g caster sugar
- 100 g unsalted butter soft
- 1 medium free range egg
- 270 g plain flour
- 1 tsp vanilla essence
- 1 tsp oats
- 100 g chocolate chips
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 180c and line a flat baking tray with greaseproof paper
- In a large bowl with an electric hand whisk cream together the butter and sugars
- Crack in your egg and mix again
- Pour in a teaspoon of vanilla essence and mix
- Add the flour and mix until you have a crumbly cookie dough
- Get your hands in and roll into 10 to 12 cookie dough balls
- Place on a baking tray in the centre of the oven and bake for around 15 mins
