The good little company Review and Giveaway

I have been looking  for a good sausage for a while (oh matron behave) Something tasty while being child-good
friendly and low in fat. .. So I was delighted when the “Good Little Company” got in touch to see if we would try out Their sausages and  chicken chipolatas …   The brand is new into, Dunnes Stores across Ireland this week and to be honest, I don’t think there is anything on the market like them.   The sausages having a unique skin (natural seaweed based casing) to make it easier for younger mouths to bite into. They’re also reduced in fat (Slimming World friendly at 1syn per chipolata), gluten free with 87% Outdoor Bred Pork,  the important bit is they taste blinking amazing.

This week I made a sausage casserole with their “12 good little sausages” and yum was shouting more sausages mammy!! I have to say it was one of the best casseroles I’ve ever tasted (not to blow my own trumpet or anything) I,ll casseroleshare the recipe later on in the week here, for you guys, its a family favourite in the making and perfect for those cold winter days.

Denis Lynn is Md of the good little company calls himself a straight talker, a person who likes to keep things simple.. (my kinda guy) he says “the good little company is founded on a simple idea, to make sausages that taste good and do good. To Make the very best sausages for families across the UK and Ireland.  He also believes it’s  not just our families that deserve the best, They have partners in Kenya and Malawi  working to transform that lives of some of the poorest and vulnerable people in the world . He says it’s a simple idea, with a big vision the simple ideas are usually the best!! (you can read all about his mission here  ,) over 50% of the profits from every pack goes directly to African projects. therefore while you,re  buying a high-quality sausage.. you,re  doing your bit for charity, a win win in my book

win all this!!!

The 12 little sausages past the taste test with  myself and “yum”. So I thought I’d bring in the big   guns “one yummy daddy”.. he only eats a certain brand of sausage … I have tried him with healthier ones  before, with no success, his view is if you’re going to have a sausage on a Saturday morning. It has to be a good one.. a proper one… he was  actually shocked the good little company  are a healthier sausage  because  they taste like sausages and not cardboard!!! (his words). He’s great at the reviews) I bet John Torode  from Masterchef is shaking in his boots!

I also cooked up their 12 chicken chipolatas and added them into my easy cheesy pasta recipe . Plates were licked (no shame)…
