My Netflix Review crew

Netflix sent out a little Mission this week to see how many family and friends I could fit under my StreamTeamBadgevery own “Netflix night in blanket”. I love nothing more than snuggling up with my glass of sharz on a weekend night, bingeing on Netflix… But it’s not all about me!!! I have enlisted my very own Netflix review crew… My little own little posse to help me with all my Netflix review posts..

Netflix is just Ace (I’m getting down with the kids here) because there is something for every one, with plenty of new titles launching every month.

so with further ado lets meet my “review crew” and check out their top  picks for February x

Watching this Month on Netflix = Strawberry Shortcake

Yum loves watching the adventures of Strawberry and her friends. You can find her dancing to the  upbeat tunes in each episode. Strawberry and her buddy,s in each episode learn about the importance of self-esteem, respect for others, patience, and friendship. She loves making smoothies in her cute cafe and is seen to keep it pristine clean.  You can also find her cleaning the oven with pure joy! ( That,s the kind of message I want to send out to kids 😉 he he 😉 )

If like me you grew up with the original strawberry short-cake in the ’80s’, this new series is something to enjoy now with your little one .

Mr Impulsive loves dinotrux! Its a world of giant creatures that are half dinosaur, half construction vehicle!!! (A 3-year-old boys dream)  Meet Ty Rux, a massive Tyrannosaurus Trux, and his best friend Revvit, a razor-sharp Reptool. Together, the Dinotrux and Reptools join forces for the first time ever to build a bigger, better world and battle back against the biggest and baddest of them all. The Theme tune say,s it all… have a listen to it here …

Little Miss Giggler, Age 6

Loves = Telling jokes , Organizing games, Arts and crafts bekki net flix

Watching this month on Netflix = Horrid Henry..

Horrid Henry started out a children s book series. The characters  jumped straight out of the pages and found there way on to our screens.  Henry  is a self-centered, naughty prankster who has issues with authority..

This is what Little Miss Giggler has to say about it, in her own words…. Horrid Henry he is mean. He has a brother called perfect Peter. He is good. Henry is not good. He is mean. He has a purple hand gang.

Little Miss Kind Hearted, Age 9

loves = Helping out, baking and dancinglea for the blog

Watching this month on Netflix = littlest pet shop

This one was new to me, the show follows Blythe a girl who, gains the ability to communicate with animals. She lives in an apartment above a pet shop. This is where Blythe works and talks to a group of pets who regularly reside at a day care in the shop.

This is what little miss Kind Hearted  has to say  in her own words about littlest pet shop

Littlest pet shop is a really good show for little kids, because it is really good. It is about this girl Blythe that lives on top of a pet shop. But then she figures out the animals can talk. Blythe lives with her dad that is a pilot. But her dad can’t find out that the animals can talk. So Blythe and the animals go on lots of cool adventures

little Miss too cool for school, Age 12

Loves = Her dog Nala , Hanging out, and watching you tube clipsaimee nexflix

Watching on Netflix this month =  Pretty Little liars (read what she says about it below in her very own review)

Pretty little liars is an amazing show because it has a great story-line. This show is about 4 girls Aria, Hannah, Spencer and Emily. let me tell you about them… Aria has fallen for her English teacher (who is pretty good-looking) But nobody knows. Oh and then there,s Hannah, she’s trying to stay glamorous, and lets just say it’s not going very well. Emily has a DEEP DEEP secret.. and I’m not going to give it away (you will have to watch to find out) and last but not least there is Spencer. She is a total mess. She is smooching her older sisters boyfriend Wren. The girls in trouble!!! A cyber stalker going by the name of A is tormenting them!! She knows every thing!! How did this all start? They had a friend Alison who knew every thing.. She seem,s quite trust worthy ,  shes any thing but .. Alison has a secret worst than any of the other girls!! How do you find out this secret? well you have to watch the show!!! My favorite charter in Pretty little liars is Aria and least favorite is Alison. I would give this show a ten out of ten!!! There is new episodes every Wednesday on Netflix and the show is for 12 +. If you want a show that is full of suspense and surprises than pretty little liars,s is for you!!

This post is part of a competition, My Review crew put a lot of work into it, and if i win I will share the prize between them x

  1. We don’t have Netflix, sometimes I wonder if we’re the only ones left without it? 😉 We do it the old school way and rent dvds online 🙂 But love the idea of a Netflix blanket, and I did hear some really good reviews about Pretty Little Liars 🙂

  2. We don’t have Netflix yet, but I am starting to think we should. If we do we need to check out Dinotrux, I have twin three-year-olds and that sounds like it is right up their street. x

  3. My 3 year old loves Strawberry shortcake but I don’t remember it at all and find it pretty annoying. There’s loads of free apps to go with it – with lots on in all purchases! But K loves then.

Really like this approach to your review!

  4. Fabulous review! We have just got the one month free trial on Netflix and although I find there is loads of TV shows and things for kids, the films for adults are a little thin on the ground. I also find it a maze to navigate through so reviews like this are brilliant.

  5. Such a great idea to have a review panel – it goes to show the wide age range that Netflix can appeal to. To be honest stupidly I have always thought of it as an adult thing – I have no idea why!!! Look forward to reading future updates x
