I have teamed up with toys and games Ireland this week. Toy,s and games Ireland is the brainchild of Suzie Evans, who is a a stay-at-home mum to her two daughters. Suzie say,s one of the things she had learned about being a parent is the amount of toys kids have now a day,s (I can second that). Like myself Suzie has a dislike for noisy, cheap, overly-marketed plastic ware!! The toy,s in her range are educational toys and wooden toys and games that are well made and children will enjoy playing with again and again.
You can have a look at the Toy,s and Game,s website here
The website is really easy to navigate , you can shop by age, by type by brand.. which is fantastic. The quality of the toys are amazing, and an added bonus is that if you order something over €15 postage is only €2. I also feel you also get the personal touch with toys and games Ireland, which you don’t get in other large toy stores.. Suzie is a mam her self and is so accommodating.
I was lucky enough to pick a toy from the website for my little yum. I went for a “wooden pizza game” from Melissa and dough”. (because of our love of making homemade pizza here.) and she absolutely loved it.
With this you can make your own “personal pizza” There is six sliceable pieces served in a brightly colored tray, complete with a pizza cutter, spatula, and over 50 toppings that store neatly in a wooden box..
This toy surpassed my expectations. Not only is it well made, a lot of imagination went into it. My little yum loves to pretend to “cook”, and this was a great way for her to do it. It can be a really helpful toy if Mummy or Daddy needs some time to cook dinner and wants to occupy the children while they do it… set them up at the table and let them make a pizza! If your 2 year old likes putting things in their mouth, do supervise tho.
This game would suit children from aged 2 to 6, I had a 6-year-old play with it also this week and she enjoyed playing “pizza shop”.
This week have a Melissa and Doug pizza to giveaway on my Facebook page…
competition open in the UK and Ireland
Have fun, get messy, One Yummy Mummy xx
( all opinions are my own as always..)
