Mummy,s Posh eggs and Soldiers

chick chick chick chick chicken lay a little egg for me…….Hey all Yummy Mummies and Daddies,posh eggs

With Easter approaching we had “Mummies posh eggs and soldiers” for breakfast this morning. These eggs always go down a treat. I love them myself for a Sunday morning breakfast or brunch.

The recipe is super easy to make (as always)  I use a well olive oiled muffin tin to bake them. But if your really posh, you can use individual ramekins for your little yum xx These rise like a souffle. They look pretty impressive when they come out of the oven..  so show off and have fun  one yummy mummyxxx

note: It is ok to give eggs to babies from 6 months as long as there cooked.


  • 2 table spoons of natural yogurt
  • 2 tablespoons of milk
  • 2 table spoons of flour
  • 2 tablespoons of grated cheddar
  • 2 eggs separated


preheat oven to 180C gas mark 4. Spray muffin tins with olive oil.

Put all the Ingredients in a bowl except the egg whites  and mix with a spoon until blended.

Mix the yoke mixture into the fluffy egg whites gently with a silver spoon.egg whites

spoon the mixture into muffin tins.

This mixture makes 6.

.Bake for 20 minutes and serve with soldiers or if your really posh baked asparagus !! (asparagus, olive oil and bake for 10 mins)posh eggs
